June 2016<\/strong> \u2013 Search engine optimization, digital content and trust topped the list of topics being discussed by top independent public relations agencies globally, according to the members of the <a title=\"Public Relations Global Network\" href=\"http:\/\/www.prgn.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Public Relations Global Network (PRGN)<\/a>, who recently met during PRGN\u2019s Semi-annual Global Leadership Conference held at the JW Marriott Hotel here.<\/p>\n<p>Principals of more than 30 member firms representing more than 40 countries around the world met to share best practices in client service and firm management, discuss emerging issues, identify trends and boost understanding and cooperation among the network\u2019s 47 member agencies.<\/p>\n<p>At the conference, members identified several key takeaways from discussion about the emerging global communications environment, including:<\/p>\n<p>1) <strong>Search engine optimization (SEO) is the key to building business today.<\/strong> Customers and clients increasingly are finding and vetting their business partners through online search. If you\u2019re not doing SEO, you may never be found by the right people.
