The fact that the Brehna site is both Dermapharm\u2019s main logistics hub and its largest production site allows for synergies in production and dispatch logistics to be achieved that enable cost savings, save resources and offer customers advantages.<\/p>\n<p>Since the start of the year, nearly 100 employees have been responsible for the smooth processing of orders and the dispatch of more than 40 million packages which Dermapharm sends to its customers from Brehna every year. The delivery of the goods to the customer is carried out by certified forwarding agents. Dermapharm\u2019s customers in Germany include pharmaceutical wholesalers, pharmacies, hospitals and health food shops. In the export business, Dermapharm supplies both its own subsidiaries\u2019 warehouses, e.g. in Poland and Switzerland, and pharmaceutical wholesalers in Austria and Croatia. The products are also shipped to various international export markets such as Canada and Australia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very proud of my teams, who made the relocation of the warehouse during ongoing operations possible and without interrupting the supply chain,\u201d said Dr. Hans-Georg Feldmeier, CEO of Dermapharm.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time as the construction of the new warehouse, production capacities were also expanded in the existing production buildings. Five machines for manufacturing sticks were installed in new production rooms. The integration of the former company CfP, which Dermapharm acquired from bankruptcy 12 months ago, has been completed as planned. Dermapharm had taken over all of CfP\u2019s employees and can now offer them state-of-the-art and competitive jobs. \u201cSticks are very interesting for us, as they make the intake of H\u00fcbner Eisen Vital very user-friendly. We sell around 20 million sticks per year to China alone, which is our largest sales market,\u201d explains Feldmeier. In addition to the stick production lines, a new 4-digit fully automatic filling line for liquid, over-the-counter drugs, so-called liquids, was also commissioned in Brehna. The main product on this line is China-Oel, a proven drug for the relief of symptoms of colds and the flu. The new filling line doubles the filling capacity by another five million units per year.<\/p>\n<p>By expanding its capacity and putting its logistics center into operation, Dermapharm has created the structural prerequisites for the further growth of the Group. Februar 2020 \u2013 Die Dermapharm Holding SE (\u201eDermapharm\u201c), ein f\u00fchrender Hersteller von patentfreien Markenarzneimitteln f\u00fcr ausgew\u00e4hlte Therapiegebiete in Deutschland mit wachsender internationaler Pr\u00e4senz, hat zum Jahreswechsel ihr neues Logistikzentrum der Tochtergesellschaft mibe GmbH Arzneimittel in Brehna bei Leipzig in Betrieb genommen.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nFirmengruppe ausgebaut. Dadurch, dass der Standort Brehna sowohl der zentrale Logistik-Hub als auch gr\u00f6\u00dfter Produktionsstandort der Dermapharm ist, werden Synergien in der Produktions- und Versandlogistik erreicht, die Kosteneinsparungen erm\u00f6glichen, Ressourcen schonen und den Kunden Vorteile bieten.\r\n \r\nNahezu 100 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter tragen seit Jahresbeginn die Verantwortung f\u00fcr die reibungslose Auftragsabwicklung und den Versand von mehr als 40 Mio. Packungen, die Dermapharm j\u00e4hrlich aus Brehna heraus an seine Kunden versendet. Die Auslieferung der Waren an den Kunden \u00fcbernehmen zertifizierte Speditionen. Zu den Kunden der Dermapharm in Deutschland geh\u00f6ren pharmazeutische Gro\u00dfh\u00e4ndler, Apotheken, Krankenh\u00e4user und Reformh\u00e4user. Im Exportgesch\u00e4ft beliefert Dermapharm sowohl eigene L\u00e4ger von Tochtergesellschaften, z.B. in Polen und der Schweiz oder Phamagro\u00dfh\u00e4ndler in \u00d6sterreich und Kroatien. Dar\u00fcber hinaus erfolgt der Versand auch in diverse internationale Exportm\u00e4rkte wie Kanada oder Australien.\r\n\r\n\u201eIch bin sehr stolz auf meine Teams, die den Umzug des Lagers im laufenden Betrieb und ohne Unterbrechung der Lieferkette erm\u00f6glicht haben\u201c, sagt Dr. Hans-Georg Feldmeier, Vorstandsvorsitzender der Dermapharm.\r\n \r\nZeitgleich mit der Errichtung des neuen Lagers wurden in den vorhandenen Produktionsgeb\u00e4uden auch die Fertigungskapazit\u00e4ten ausgebaut. In neuen Produktionsr\u00e4umen wurden f\u00fcnf Anlagen zur Herstellung von Sticks installiert. Damit ist die Integration der ehemaligen Firma CfP, die Dermapharm vor 12 Monaten aus der Insolvenz \u00fcbernommen hatte, planm\u00e4\u00dfig abgeschlossen. Dermapharm hatte alle Mitarbeiter der CfP \u00fcbernommen und kann ihnen nun hochmoderne und wettbewerbsf\u00e4hige Arbeitspl\u00e4tze bieten. \u201eSticks sind sehr interessant f\u00fcr uns, da sie die Einnahme z.B. von H\u00fcbner Eisen Vital sehr anwenderfreundlich machen. Alleine nach China als unseren gr\u00f6\u00dften Absatzmarkt verkaufen wir ca. 20 Millionen Sticks pro Jahr,\u201c erkl\u00e4rt Feldmeier. Neben den Anlagen zur Herstellung von Sticks wurde in Brehna zudem eine neue 4-stellige vollautomatische Abf\u00fcllanlage f\u00fcr fl\u00fcssige, freiverk\u00e4ufliche Arzneimittel, sogenannte Liquida in Betrieb genommen. Das Hauptprodukt auf dieser Anlage ist China-Oel, ein bew\u00e4hrtes Arzneimittel zur Linderung von Beschwerden bei Erk\u00e4ltungskrankheiten. Die neue Abf\u00fcllanlage stellt eine Verdopplung der Abf\u00fcllkapazit\u00e4ten um weitere f\u00fcnf Millionen Einheiten pro Jahr dar.\r\n\r\nMit der Kapazit\u00e4tserweiterung sowie der Inbetriebnahme des Logistikzentrums, hat Dermapharm die strukturellen Voraussetzungen f\u00fcr das weitere Wachstum der Unternehmensgruppe geschaffen. Gleichzeitig werden signifikante Kosteneinsparungen durch die Verwendung neuer Technologien und durch Konzentration erzielt.
