According to preliminary figures, revenue in the third quarter of 2018 rose significantly by 65% from EUR 21.2 million to EUR 34.9 million compared to the previous year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT*) improved significantly year-on-year from EUR -1.2 million to EUR 0.1 million. For the first time since 2012, DEAG thus achieved a positive EBIT in the traditionally weaker third quarter of the financial year. In the first nine months of 2018, DEAG recorded revenue growth of 41% to EUR 152.9 million, up from EUR 108.1 million in the previous year. EBIT in the first nine months of 2018 amounted to EUR 8.2 million compared with EUR 1.1 million in the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of strategy, DEAG also continued along its chosen path and increased its stake in The Classical Company AG to 100% at the beginning of the fourth quarter. This is another step towards successively reducing minority shareholdings by increasing the shareholding and thus increasing the earnings per share attributable to the shareholders. In the reporting period DEAG had already taken over minority interests held by third parties in the Classics &#038; Jazz and Ticketing divisions. In view of the fact that the calendar of events for 2019 is already filled to capacity, DEAG intends to continue to grow profitably and to profit from high-margin, high-turnover projects in all areas. In particular, the Arts+Exhibitions, Family-Entertainment and Ticketing business divisions offer above-average and highly profitable growth potential. November 2018<\/strong> - Die im Prime Standard notierte DEAG Deutsche Entertainment Aktiengesellschaft (DEAG), Berlin, ISIN: DE000A0Z23G6, Ticker: ERMK, setzt den bisherigen Wachstumskurs des aktuellen Gesch\u00e4ftsjahres weiter fort. Im dritten Quartal 2018 stieg der Umsatz nach vorl\u00e4ufigen Zahlen im Vergleich zum Vorjahr deutlich um 65% von 21,2 Mio. Euro auf 34,9 Mio. Euro. Das Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern (EBIT*) verbesserte sich deutlich gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahr von -1,2 Mio. Euro auf 0,1 Mio. Euro. Damit erzielte DEAG erstmals seit 2012 im traditionell schw\u00e4cheren dritten Quartal eines Gesch\u00e4ftsjahres wieder ein positives EBIT. In den ersten neun Monaten 2018 verzeichnete DEAG einen Umsatzanstieg um 41 % auf 152,9 Mio. Euro nach 108,1 Mio. Euro im Vorjahr. Das EBIT in den ersten neun Monaten 2018 betrug 8,2 Mio. Euro nach 1,1 Mio. Euro im Vorjahr.\r\n\r\nAuch strategisch hat DEAG den eingeschlagenen Weg fortgesetzt und den Anteil an der The Classical Company AG zu Beginn des vierten Quartals auf 100% erh\u00f6ht. Dies ist ein weiterer Schritt, Minderheitsbeteiligungen durch Anteilsaufstockung sukzessive zu reduzieren und so das auf die Aktion\u00e4re entfallende Ergebnis je Aktie zu steigern. Bereits im Berichtszeitraum hatte DEAG Minderheitenanteile Dritter in den Gesch\u00e4ftsfeldern Classics & Jazz sowie Ticketing \u00fcbernommen. Angesichts eines f\u00fcr 2019 bereits ausgezeichnet gef\u00fcllten Veranstaltungskalender beabsichtigt DEAG weiter profitabel zu wachsen und in allen Feldern von margen- und umsatzstarken Projekten zu profitieren. Zur Finanzierung des Wachstums hat DEAG Ende Oktober 2018 erfolgreich eine Unternehmensanleihe im Volumen von 20 Mio.
