Once the roof coverings at the new site in L\u00fcbeck-Genin are finished during the next weeks, construction of the interior will start. The new Group headquarters is expected to be finished at the beginning of 2018, with the company planning to move into the building during the first quarter of 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The new location will provide space for around 500 employees. On a one-shift operation basis, SLM Solutions plans production capacity of around 500 machines per year at the new premises. The building that is currently being constructed will occupy around 17,000 m\u00b2 of the total land area of 70,000 m\u00b2. This will make it possible to construct extension buildings directly at the new site in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Uwe B\u00f6gershausen, CFO of SLM Solutions Group AG, explains: &#8220;We made sure when planning our new headquarters that the ground plans exactly meet the needs of our production processes. Our aim was to keep connecting routes as short as possible, and already further improve the possibilities for coordination between departments through the new premises&#8217; design. We believe we can significantly further optimise our manufacturing process in this way and raise our productivity. We will also have more space for our research and development activities at the new site than is currently possible. Juni 2017 \u2013 In den ersten Monaten des Jahres 2017 ging der Neubau der Unternehmenszentrale der SLM Solutions Group AG (\u201eSLM Solutions\"), ein f\u00fchrender Anbieter metallbasierter additiver Fertigungstechnologie, planm\u00e4\u00dfig voran. Nach Fertigstellung der \u00dcberdachungen wird in den n\u00e4chsten Wochen am neuen Standort in L\u00fcbeck-Genin der Innenausbau beginnen. Die Fertigstellung der neuen Unternehmenszentrale wird f\u00fcr Anfang 2018 erwartet, der Bezug ist f\u00fcr das erste Quartal 2018 geplant.\r\n\r\n\r\nDer neue Standort wird Platz f\u00fcr rund 500 Mitarbeiter bieten. Im Ein-Schicht-Betrieb plant SLM Solutions in den neuen R\u00e4umlichkeiten mit einer Produktionskapazit\u00e4t von rund 500 Maschinen pro Jahr. Die derzeit in Bau befindlichen Geb\u00e4ude werden eine Fl\u00e4che von etwa 17.000 m\u00b2 des insgesamt 70.000 m\u00b2 gro\u00dfen Grundst\u00fccks einnehmen.
