In particular, in the offshore segment, the Company achieved important successes in the first quarter of 2017. In addition to the sale of the &#8220;Atlantis 1&#8221; project to the Swedish energy group Vattenfall, the &#8220;Gode Wind 3&#8221; offshore wind farm developed by PNE WIND was one of only four offshore wind farms that received an award in the first German wind farm tender.<\/p>\n<p>Markus Lesser, Chief Executive Officer of the PNE WIND Group, comments: &#8220;The success in the tender process is proof of the high quality of our projects and demonstrates that we, as a globally operating enterprise, can benefit from experience gained with this system in other countries. PNE WIND had a positive start to 2017, which we see as a year of transition. We will undertake significant investments in the upcoming months to lay the cornerstone for long-term positive development.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Business is also doing well in the onshore segment: Currently PNE WIND is constructing wind farms with a total capacity of 91 MW. Of these, wind farms with a nominal capacity of 59 MW were under construction at the end of the first quarter in Germany. In France wind farms with a nominal capacity of approx. 32 MW are being erected for the internationally renowned investor John Laing Investments.<\/p>\n<p><b>Results of the first quarter 2017 and outlook<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In the first three months of 2017, the PNE WIND Group generated sales of euro 20.4 million (prior year: euro 11.9 million), total aggregate output of euro 24.6 million (prior year: euro 21.1 million), operating profit (EBIT) of euro 0.3 million (prior year: euro 0.2 million) and undiluted earnings per share of euro -0.03 (prior year: euro -0.05). With an equity ratio of 55.1 percent, PNE WIND has the necessary solid financial basis to realise all planned business activities.<\/p>\n<p>Markus Lesser: &#8220;In addition to the planned investments in the expansion of our business model, we are currently working intensively on reducing the project costs. First discussions, inter alia, with manufacturers of wind power turbines have been very promising. We are expecting progress in this respect and think that our group of companies is, as a whole, in a good position. Against this backdrop, we confirm our Group EBIT guidance for 2017 in the range of between euro 0 and 15 million.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the management has specified the further growth strategy in more detail. For example, the management plans to build up a European wind farm portfolio with a nominal capacity of more than 200 MW by 2019\/2020. The relevant projects are situated primarily in Germany and France. In this way, the Company will be able to benefit from regular income from electricity generated by the wind farms under operation. The advantage: PNE WIND secures a stable basis of income in addition to the high-margin project development business. The next goal is to consolidate the earnings.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from an intensified internal operation of wind farms, PNE WIND intends to expand its range of services. Quartal 2017 \r\n\u2022 Alle wesentlichen Finanzkennzahlen der ersten drei Monate 2017 \u00fcber den Vorjahreswerten\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nCuxhaven, 10. \u00a0Mai 2017 \u2013 Der Windpark-Projektierer PNE WIND ist mit viel R\u00fcckenwind in das neue Jahr gestartet. Insbesondere im Offshore-Bereich konnten im 1. Quartal 2017 wichtige Erfolge erzielt werden. Neben dem Verkauf des Projekts \u201eAtlantis 1\u201c an den schwedischen Energiekonzern Vattenfall erhielt der von PNE WIND entwickelte Offshore-Windpark \u201eGode Wind 3\u201c als einer von nur vier Offshore-Windparks bei der ersten deutschen Ausschreibung f\u00fcr Windparks auf See einen Zuschlag.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n\u201eDer Erfolg beim Ausschreibungsverfahren belegt die hohe Qualit\u00e4t unserer Projekte und zeigt, dass wir als international aufgestelltes Unternehmen von den Erfahrungen, die wir mit diesem System in anderen L\u00e4ndern sammeln konnten, profitieren\u201c, kommentiert Markus Lesser, Vorstandsvorsitzender der PNE WIND-Gruppe. \u201ePNE WIND ist positiv in das Jahr 2017 gestartet, welches wir als ein \u00dcbergangsjahr bewerten. Wir wollen in den kommenden Monaten umfangreiche Investitionen t\u00e4tigen, um den Grundstein f\u00fcr eine nachhaltig positive Entwicklung zu legen.\u201c\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nDoch auch an Land l\u00e4uft das Gesch\u00e4ft: Derzeit baut PNE WIND Windparks mit 91 MW Nennleistung. In Deutschland befinden sich davon zum Ende des ersten Quartals bereits Windparks an Land mit 59 MW Nennleistung in Bau. In Frankreich werden Windparks mit rund 32 MW Nennleistungen f\u00fcr den international renommierten Investor John Laing Investments errichtet.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\n<b>Ergebnisse des 1. Quartals 2017 und Ausblick<\/b>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nInsgesamt erzielte die PNE WIND Gruppe in den ersten drei Monaten 2017 Umsatzerl\u00f6se in H\u00f6he von 20,4 Mio. Euro (im Vorjahr: 11,9 Mio. Euro), eine Gesamtleistung von 24,6 Mio. Euro (im Vorjahr: 21,1 Mio. Euro), ein Betriebsergebnis (EBIT) von 0,3 Mio. Euro (im Vorjahr: 0,2 Mio. Euro) und ein unverw\u00e4ssertes Ergebnis je Aktie von -0,03 Euro (im Vorjahr: -0,05 Euro). Mit einer Eigenkapitalquote von 55,1 % Prozent verf\u00fcgt PNE WIND \u00fcber eine solide finanzielle Basis, um alle geplanten Gesch\u00e4ftsaktivit\u00e4ten umzusetzen.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nDazu Markus Lesser: \u201eNeben den geplanten Investitionen in die Erweiterung unseres Gesch\u00e4ftsmodells arbeiten wir momentan intensiv an einer Senkung der Projektkosten. Die ersten Gespr\u00e4che unter anderem mit Herstellern von Windenergieanlagen verlaufen vielversprechend. Wir erwarten in diesem Punkt Fortschritte und sehen unsere Unternehmensgruppe insgesamt positiv aufgestellt. Vor diesem Hintergrund best\u00e4tigen wir unsere Konzern-EBIT-Prognose f\u00fcr 2017 von 0 bis 15 Mio. Euro.\u201c\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nDie Eckpfeiler der zuk\u00fcnftigen Wachstumsstrategie hat das Management unterdessen weiter konkretisiert. So plant die Unternehmensf\u00fchrung bis 2019\/2020 den Aufbau eines europ\u00e4ischen Windparkportfolios mit einer Nennleistung von \u00fcber 200 MW. Die daf\u00fcr vorgesehenen Projekte befinden sich \u00fcberwiegend in Deutschland und Frankreich. Dadurch k\u00f6nnte das Unternehmen zuk\u00fcnftig auch an den stetigen Ertr\u00e4gen aus dem Stromverkauf der laufenden Windparks partizipieren. Der Vorteil: PNE WIND sichert sich zus\u00e4tzlich zu dem margentr\u00e4chtigen Projektierungsgesch\u00e4ft eine weitere, stabile Einkommensbasis. Perspektivisches Ziel ist es, die Erl\u00f6se zu verstetigen.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div><\/div>\r\n<div>\r\n\r\nNeben einem verst\u00e4rkten Eigenbetrieb strebt PNE WIND eine Ausweitung des Dienstleistungsangebots an.
