November 2016<\/strong> \u2013 Today, Manz AG, Reutlingen, (ISIN: DE000A0JQ5U3) signed a framework agreement (the \u201cAgreement\u201d) with leading companies. This Agreement is aimed at a sustainable strategic cooperation in order to further develop and commercialize Manz AG\u2019s CIGS thin-film technology.<br \/>\nManz and the cooperation partners agreed to jointly accelerate the establishment of a R&#038;D company in order to advance the further development of the Manz CIGS technology. The current R&#038;D site for CIGS from Manz AG, the Manz CIGS Technology GmbH, will be acquired by the new R&#038;D Joint Venture. Subject of the Agreement are as well CIGSfab purchase orders. The Agreements still need the approvals of the management boards of the parties and are subject to the satisfactory results of the ongoing Due Diligence for the Manz CIGS Technology GmbH. The cooperation partners agreed to cover the operational costs occuring from Manz CIGS Technology GmbH in Schw\u00e4bisch Hall from November 2016 till end of December 2016 or final formal signature is completed.<br \/>\nThe management board of Manz AG does not expect this to happen before mid of December 2016. Consequently revenues and earnings from a CIGS purchase order, which were included in the management\u2019s full year 2016 expectations so far, will be postponed and therefore will only affect revenues and earnings during the financial years 2017 and 2018. Der Vertrag sieht eine nachhaltige strategische Zusammenarbeit vor, um die CIGS D\u00fcnnschicht-Solartechnologie der Manz AG weiter zu entwickeln und zu vermarkten.\r\n\r\nDemnach einigten sich die Manz AG und die Kooperationspartner darauf, gemeinsam die Gr\u00fcndung eines gemeinschaftlichen Forschungsunternehmens f\u00fcr die Weiterentwicklung der CIGS-Technologie der Manz AG voranzutreiben. In diesem Zusammenhang wird die Manz CIGS Technology GmbH, der gegenw\u00e4rtige CIGS-Forschungsstandort der Manz AG, von dem neu gegr\u00fcndeten F&E Joint Venture erworben werden. Gegenstand des Vertrags sind zudem Auftr\u00e4ge f\u00fcr vollst\u00e4ndig integrierte Produktionslinien f\u00fcr CIGS D\u00fcnnschicht-Solarmodule (CIGS<em>fab<\/em>).
