This corresponds to a plus versus prior year of 16.1 percent. The growth was equally driven by the two segments Live Touring and Entertainment Services of DEAG. As far as the Group companies outside Germany are concerned, Kilimanjaro Live and Raymond Gubbay recorded a very good development. In Switzerland the restructuring of the business was successfully implemented at the end of the year, so that a significantly rising development is expected in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Festivals<\/p>\n<p>On the festival market, DEAG has established itself with several events in the German-speaking countries. In this way DEAG has succeeded in entering a market on which it can generate in future a clear six-digit number of tickets per year. The Group&#8217;s own ticketing platform myticket.de will likewise benefit in an above-average manner from this development. During the current year the number of festival visitors is likely to increase to more than 160,000.<\/p>\n<p>Altogether, the non-recurring expenditure for the establishment of the festivals amounted to around EUR 23 million; it has been fully taken into account in the 2015 financial statements. During the 4th quarter 2015 alone risk provisions were made for reasons of prudence for this business unit in the amount of EUR 4 million. The economic result of the festivals was still disappointing in 2015 and remained significantly behind expectations due to unexpected high non-recurring expenditure in the festival segment, which resulted, amongst other things, from a necessary relocation and a legal dispute with a former partner.<\/p>\n<p>With the first-time staging of the festivals in 2015 a sound basis has been created for growing sales figures, on the one hand and an annual cost basis reduced by EUR 21 million with the same quality level for the festivals in 2016 and beyond, on the other hand. The management is confident that the festival unit will make a continuous positive contribution to the result of DEAG after a successful establishment.<\/p>\n<p>Development of earnings<\/p>\n<p>The EBIT amounted in 2015, taking into account all non-recurring effects, to EUR -17.8 million versus EUR 4.2 million during the previous year. This includes a positive one-time effect which results from the divestiture of the business unit &#8220;Jahrhunderthalle&#8221;. The earnings before taxes amounted to EUR -18.8 million (PY: EUR 2.5 million) and the earnings after taxes from continuing operations amounted to EUR -18.9 million (PY: EUR 2.4 million).<\/p>\n<p>Outlook 2016<\/p>\n<p>The anticipated positive business development in 2016 has become apparent with increasing clarity at DEAG during the first months of the year. DEAG is, therefore, confident that it can outperform the annual forecast made on February 4, 2016, which provides for a positive EBIT of at least EUR 3 to 5 million for the current year. This forecast does not include possible positive contributions to earnings which might result from claims of more than EUR 10 million, which are asserted in court by DEAG against a former partner in the festival area.<\/p>\n<p>Family Entertainment and Ticketing have emerged as strong additional growth drivers. DEAG has succeeded during the past months in entering into many agreements in this segment for crowd-pulling events of international stature, whose terms go partly until 2020. This year&#8217;s pipeline is already very well filled with productions such as Disney on Ice, Riverdance, Circus Roncalli, several Christmas Circus productions and Marvel Universe Live!. Altogether, Family Entertainment is likely to contribute some EUR 25 million, with attractive margins, to the Group sales revenues in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>DEAG is increasingly focusing on Ticketing in the four countries with a strong presence. In the wake of this digitization strategy, peripheral activities are ramped down. Within the framework of this transformation process, the DEAG Music label will concentrate in future on the support and successful development of the existing artist portfolio as well as the exploitation of the existing catalogue.<\/p>\n<p>As far as the Group&#8217;s own ticketing platforms myticket.de and myticket.co.uk are concerned, the positive development of the past months continues; their market share is constantly rising. DEAG pushes the scheduled enhancement of its market position in Ticketing. April 2016 - Die DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG (ISIN: DE000A0Z23G6 | ERMK) berichtet \u00fcber das Gesch\u00e4ftsjahr 2015 und den Ausblick f\u00fcr 2016.\r\n\r\n<b>Umsatzentwicklung<\/b>\r\n\r\nDer konsolidierte Konzernumsatz nach IFRS verbesserte sich laut testiertem Jahresabschluss 2015 signifikant auf 200,4 Mio. Euro. Dies bedeutet ein Plus gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahr von 16,1 Prozent. Zum Wachstum trugen die beiden Segmente, Live Touring und Entertainment Services, der DEAG gleicherma\u00dfen bei. Bei den Konzerngesellschaften au\u00dferhalb Deutschlands zeigten Kilimanjaro Live und Raymond Gubbay eine sehr gute Entwicklung. In der Schweiz wurde die Restrukturierung des Gesch\u00e4fts zum Jahresende erfolgreich umgesetzt, so dass mit einer deutlich anziehenden Entwicklung 2016 gerechnet wird.\r\n\r\n<b>Festivals<\/b>\r\n\r\nIm Festivalmarkt etablierte sich die DEAG mit mehreren Veranstaltungen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Damit ist der DEAG der Eintritt in einen Markt gelungen, aus dem sie k\u00fcnftig eine deutlich sechsstellige Zahl an Eintrittskarten pro Jahr generieren kann, wovon auch die konzerneigene Ticketvertriebsplattform myticket.de \u00fcberdurchschnittlich profitiert. Bereits f\u00fcr das laufende Jahr wird die Zahl der Festivalbesucher voraussichtlich auf \u00fcber 160.000 steigen.\r\n\r\nInsgesamt betrugen die Einmalaufwendungen f\u00fcr die Etablierung der Festivals rund 23 Mio. Euro, sie wurden vollst\u00e4ndig im Jahresabschluss 2015 ber\u00fccksichtigt. Allein im 4. Quartal 2015 wurde aus Vorsichtsgr\u00fcnden eine Risikovorsorge f\u00fcr den Bereich in H\u00f6he von 4 Mio. Euro gebildet. Das wirtschaftliche Ergebnis der Festivals war aufgrund unerwartet hoher Einmalaufwendungen im Festivalbereich, die u.a. aus einer notwendigen Standortverlegung und Rechtsstreitigkeiten mit einem ehemaligen Partner resultierten, in 2015 noch entt\u00e4uschend und deutlich unter den Erwartungen.\r\n\r\nMit der erstmaligen Durchf\u00fchrung der Festivals 2015 wurde eine gute Basis f\u00fcr einerseits steigende Absatzzahlen und andererseits bei gleichem Qualit\u00e4tsniveau eine um 21 Mio. Euro reduzierte j\u00e4hrliche Kostenbasis bei den Festivals in 2016 und dar\u00fcber hinaus geschaffen. Das Management ist zuversichtlich, dass der Festivalbereich nach der erfolgreichen Etablierung kontinuierlich positiv zum Ergebnis der DEAG beitragen wird.\r\n\r\n<b>Ergebnisentwicklung<\/b>\r\n\r\nDas EBIT im Gesch\u00e4ftsjahr 2015 belief sich unter Einrechnung s\u00e4mtlicher Einmaleffekte auf -17,8 Mio. Euro, verglichen mit 4,2 Mio. Euro ein Jahr zuvor. Hierin ist auch ein positiver Einmaleffekt enthalten, der sich aus dem Abgang des Gesch\u00e4ftsbereichs \"Jahrhunderthalle\" ergibt. Das Ergebnis vor Steuern lag bei -18,8 Mio. Euro (Vj. 2,5 Mio. Euro) und das Ergebnis nach Steuern aus fortgef\u00fchrten Bereichen betrug -18,9 Mio. Euro (Vj. 2,4 Mio. Euro).\r\n\r\n<b>Ausblick 2016<\/b>\r\n\r\nDie erwartet positive Gesch\u00e4ftsentwicklung 2016 zeichnet sich bei der DEAG in den ersten Monaten des Jahres mit zunehmender Deutlichkeit ab. Die DEAG ist entsprechend zuversichtlich, die am 4. Februar 2016 abgegebene Jahresprognose, die ein positives EBIT von mindestens 3 bis 5 Mio. Euro f\u00fcr das laufende Jahr vorsieht, \u00fcbertreffen zu k\u00f6nnen. In dieser Prognose nicht enthalten sind m\u00f6gliche positive Ergebnisbeitr\u00e4ge, die sich aus den Anspr\u00fcchen in H\u00f6he von \u00fcber 10 Mio. Euro ergeben k\u00f6nnten, die von der DEAG gegen ehemalige Partner im Festivalbereich gerichtlich geltend gemacht wurden.\r\n\r\nAls starke zus\u00e4tzliche Wachstumstreiber zeichnen sich dabei die Bereiche Family Entertainment und das Ticketing ab.
