Mr. Drasch succeeds Eckhard H\u00f6rner-Marass, who held the position since July 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Following completion of his degree in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on production technology, Drasch worked more than 15 years in the areas of production, project management and design for the equipment manufacturer Eisenmann SE. Since 2012 he was responsible there for the division &#8220;Automotive System Technology&#8221; as Vice President. Since August 01, 2015 he has been responsible as COO of Manz AG for the Production and Purchasing areas as well as the Solar, Contract Manufacturing and Service business segments.<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr. Heiko Aurenz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Manz AG: &#8220;Martin Drasch is highly knowledgeable about Manz AG, its customers and the particularities of the target industries. We are confident that with Mr. Drasch we have the right person in charge to successfully continue the company&#8217;s path of recent years and thus at the same time to act as an important sign of continuity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mr. H\u00f6rner-Marass has been responsible for the restructuring and realignment of the Manz Group since October 2016, which also fell within his sphere of responsibility as CEO. Having now successfully met the milestones agreed to with the Supervisory Board ahead of schedule and after the handover process in the management team went quickly and efficiently, the Supervisory Board has agreed to Mr. H\u00f6rner-Marass&#8217;s request to conclude his term of office on the Managing Board early on September 30, 2018. Oktober 2018 zum Vorstandsvorsitzenden ernannt wurde. Herr Drasch folgt damit Eckhard H\u00f6rner-Marass, der das Amt seit Juli 2017 innehatte.\r\n\r\nMartin Drasch arbeitete nach erfolgreichem Abschluss seines Maschinenbau-Studiums mit dem Schwerpunkt Produktionstechnik \u00fcber 15 Jahre in den Bereichen Produktion, Projektmanagement und Konstruktion f\u00fcr den Anlagenbauer Eisenmann SE. Seit 2012 war er dort als Vice President f\u00fcr den Bereich \u201eAutomotive System Technology\u201c verantwortlich. Seit dem 1. August 2015 zeichnet er als COO der Manz AG f\u00fcr die Bereiche Produktion und Einkauf sowie die Gesch\u00e4ftsbereiche Solar, Contract Manufacturing und Service verantwortlich.\r\n\r\nProf. Dr. Heiko Aurenz, Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender der Manz AG: \u201eMartin Drasch kennt die Manz AG, Kunden und Besonderheiten der Zielbranchen ausgezeichnet. Wir sind davon \u00fcberzeugt, dass wir mit Herrn Drasch den richtigen Mann an der Spitze des Unternehmens haben, um den eingeschlagenen Weg der vergangenen Jahre erfolgreich weiter fortzuf\u00fchren und damit gleichzeitig auch ein wichtiges Zeichen der Kontinuit\u00e4t setzen.\u201c\r\n\r\nHerr H\u00f6rner-Marass war seit Oktober 2016 f\u00fcr die Restrukturierung und Neuausrichtung der Manz Gruppe verantwortlich, was auch in sein Ressort als Vorstandsvorsitzender fiel. Nachdem nun fr\u00fcher als erwartet mit dem Aufsichtsrat vereinbarte Meilensteine erreicht wurden und der \u00dcbergabeprozess im Vorstandsteam schnell und effizient vollzogen wurde, hat der Aufsichtsrat dem Wunsch von Herrn H\u00f6rner-Marass entsprochen und das Vorstandsmandat vorzeitig zum 30. September 2018 beendet.
