In the first half of 2018, DEAG group recorded a 34.2% increase in revenues to EUR 118.0 million after EUR 87.9 million in the previous year. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT)* amounted to EUR 8.1 million compared to EUR 2.2 million in the previous year. Adjusted for the effect of the acquisition of 49% of DEAG Classics AG and the sale of Raymond Gubbay Limited with a profit on deconsolidation of EUR 5.3 million, operating EBIT amounted to EUR 2.8 million after EUR 0.3 million in the same period of the previous year, taking into account the business unit Austria.<\/p>\n<p>The company plans to issue a bond to finance its further development and to diversify its financing structure. DEAG has mandated IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, D\u00fcsseldorf (&#8220;IKB&#8221;) for this purpose.<\/p>\n<p>A number of event highlights contributed to its positive development. For instance, DEAG had a successful first half year with the open-air events, rock\/pop tours, classical events, theatre productions and events for the entire family as well as the ticketing business in its core markets.<\/p>\n<p>DEAG&#8217;s operations are thus well on target for 2018 as a whole. Besides its positive development, measures were also taken to increase the earnings per share attributable to shareholders by reducing minority interests. For example, DEAG acquired 49% of DEAG Classics AG and now holds 100% of the shares. Furthermore, DEAG bought back 24.9% of the shares in MyTicket AG and now holds 75.1% of the company. DEAG also underscored the growth focus of its business in the UK by acquiring 100% of the shares of the &#8220;Belladrum&#8221; Festival in Scotland, which sold out for the ninth consecutive year in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>With a well-filled pipeline of events and over 2 million tickets already sold, DEAG has a solid basis for further development in the financial year. August 2018 - Die im Prime Standard notierte DEAG Deutsche Entertainment Aktiengesellschaft (DEAG), Berlin, ISIN: DE000A0Z23G6, Ticker: ERMK, konnte auf Basis vorl\u00e4ufiger Zahlen im ersten Halbjahr des aktuellen Gesch\u00e4ftsjahres auf Gruppenebene ein deutliches Umsatz- und Ergebniswachstum erzielen. Im ersten Halbjahr 2018 verzeichnete der DEAG-Konzern einen Umsatzanstieg um 34,2 % auf 118,0 Mio. Euro nach 87,9 Mio. Euro im Vorjahr. Das Ergebnis vor Zinsen und Steuern (EBIT)* betrug 8,1 Mio. Euro gegen\u00fcber 2,2 Mio. Euro im Vorjahr. Bereinigt um den Effekt aus dem Erwerb von 49 % an der DEAG Classics AG und dem Verkauf der Raymond Gubbay Limited mit einem Entkonsolidierungsgewinn von 5,3 Mio. Euro liegt das operative EBIT bei 2,8 Mio. Euro nach 0,3 Mio. Euro im Vorjahr unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung des Gesch\u00e4ftsfeldes \u00d6sterreich.\r\n\r\nZur Finanzierung der weiteren Unternehmensentwicklung und zur Diversifizierung der Finanzierungstruktur plant die Gesellschaft die Begebung einer Anleihe. Hierf\u00fcr hat die Gesellschaft die IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG, D\u00fcsseldorf (\"IKB\") mandatiert.\r\n\r\nZur positiven Entwicklung trug eine Reihe an Veranstaltungs-Highlights bei. So konnte die DEAG mit den veranstalteten Open-Airs, Rock-\/Pop-Tourneen, Klassikevents, Theater-Produktionen und Events f\u00fcr die gesamte Familie sowie mit dem Ticketing-Gesch\u00e4ft in ihren Kernm\u00e4rkten ein erfolgreiches erstes Halbjahr verbuchen.\r\n\r\nDamit liegt die DEAG operativ sehr gut im Plan f\u00fcr das Gesamtjahr 2018. Neben der positiven Entwicklung wurden Ma\u00dfnahmen ergriffen, um das auf die Aktion\u00e4re entfallende Ergebnis pro Aktie durch die Reduzierung von Minderheitsbeteiligungen zu steigern. So erwarb DEAG 49 % an der DEAG Classics AG und h\u00e4lt damit nun 100 % der Anteile. Zus\u00e4tzlich kaufte DEAG 24,9 % der Anteile an der MyTicket AG zur\u00fcck und h\u00e4lt nun 75,1 % der Gesellschaft. Dar\u00fcber hinaus konnte DEAG den Wachstumsfokus des Gesch\u00e4fts auf Gro\u00dfbritannien unterstreichen, indem 100 % der Anteile an dem Festival \"Belladrum\" in Schottland erworben wurden, das 2018 bereits das neunte Jahr in Folge ausverkauft war.\r\n\r\nMit der gut gef\u00fcllten Pipeline an Veranstaltungen mit bereits \u00fcber 2 Mio. fest verkauften Tickets verf\u00fcgt die DEAG \u00fcber eine solide Basis f\u00fcr die weitere Entwicklung im Gesch\u00e4ftsjahr.
